John Oliphant, B.A., is the author of the biography Brother XII: The Strange Odyssey of a 20th-Century Prophet and has ghostwritten a number of high profile book projects represented by major New York literary agents. A freelance editor for one of the most respected corporate communications companies in Hong Kong, he has worked on projects for the Macao government, Accenture, British American Tobacco Company (a history of the cigarette industry in China), and numerous corporate clients of varying size. A contributor to Reader's Digest and other publications in both Asia and North America, he is also a former book reviewer for The Vancouver Sun and instructor in creative nonfiction at Simon Fraser University. He began his professional writing career in Toronto as a copywriter at Canada's largest advertising agency.
Roger McGuire, Attorney at Law, has been living and working in Thailand for nine years. His primary expertise is in translating law-related documents from Thai to English. Roger has also performed translation work in office and courtroom settings. He has a law degree from an American law school, is a member of two bar associations, and has completed substantial coursework in Thai law.
Clifford M. Esler is a highly capable generalist with a BA degree in English Lit. and credentials in standard and technical writing and editing, corporate communications, web content development, executive support, and related skillsets. He has worked extensively as a technical editor on e-learning courses for the IT sector, and as a strategic research analyst, writer and editor in the global metals and mining sector. He is currently under contract as a technical editor for Calgary-based Stantec Inc., on a large environmental assessment for oil major Enbridge.
